BrencisThe night was passing quickly, almost too quickly and I was too anxious to fall asleep. I watched the minutes pass by on the clock, adding the numbers that appeared together to make one large number. It was 12:47 a.m. or 14 added together. I used simple arithmetic to keep my mind at ease, logic is much easier to contain than the imagination, and I knew if I allowed my mind to falter from number games I would once again fall into that void of emotion that surrounds my thoughts.
